The cause of deaths is simple. This is because of the toxic gases that are generated when burning biomass. It could also be seen in a rural village Pursat, where we visited. In the countryside of Cambodia, many households are cooking with biomass stoves, and women or children are still drinking the gas that's generated from here. The more serious situation is that they even burn plastic for easier combustion. Unfortunately, there is no alternative but to cook in that way for them. "We do not sell products. We sell users a solution to their problem." Flint Lab has recently visited Cambodia twice. During our journey, we met a valuable business partner in this enthusiastic country. We have deeply sympathized with the fact that the existing stoves have a serious impact on the users' health as well as on the environment, and agreed with that we can solve these problems together in our business. Mr. Sokun, is a business partner of Flint Lab, a representative of Cambodian start-up company FIC(Fresh Innovation Cambodia), and a business partner to solve social problems. FIC is already selling several clean cookstove products to reduce the most urgent problems for women and children. This is because they believe that the biggest solution to the problem of Cambodia is the diffusion of modern energy technologies. Of course, the business in early stage was not easy, but FIC has overcome difficulties through education and microfinance. Now, FIC sells more than 10,000 improved stoves per year. FIC is still looking for a business that can provide cleaner energy in Cambodia. This time, collaborating with FIC, Flint Lab is planning a business that can supply new energy to Cambodia. FIC believes that our technology and products will create new business in Cambodia and Flint Lab firmly believes that it is a cleaner and more efficient alternative energy. Through this MOU, we confirmed our mutual commitment to the alternative energy business and promised to make mutual efforts for a successful business. Flint Lab's technology and FIC's business management capability would not be a problem. Flint Cook Stoves will soon be visiting Cambodia with FIC.
